Ph.D.  Projects:

In Q3/2024, a new PhD position will be available, providing applicants with the flexibility to specialize in one of the following topics depending on their skills and interests:

  •  Toroidal Magnetic Moments in Molecular Clusters by High-Field Torque Magnetometry

  •  Inelastic Neutron Scattering on Lanthanide-Containing Single Molecule Magnets

For further information, please contact Prof. Dr. Oliver Waldmann.

Bachelor/Master Projects:

We are actively seeking motivated students who can independently conduct research in areas such as numerical methods, machine learning, neutron scattering, and all aspects related to quantum magnetism and single molecule magnets (SMMs). Both Bachelor and Master projects are available and can be interchangeable. If you are interested in undertaking an individual research project, please feel free to contact us (here).
